Taylor moved to New York City in 2006 from his home state of Washington. Splitting time as a camera assistant and DIT, he worked his way up the ranks, gaining experience under many talented filmmakers. In 2010 he began shooting full time. He takes on a wide variety of projects and has filmed on every inhabited continent, in over 50 countries. He currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife and enjoys skiing, scuba diving, running marathons and collecting mechanical watches.
